As a systems-designer at heart, I focus on creating design patterns that are scalable and re-usable.

I’m also highly collaborative in my design process - gathering context, conducting research, and bringing others along in my work.

At Wealthsimple, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a number of different teams and business areas.

Most recently, I’ve been working on the Banking team. I helped design and launch a new high interest savings account, and have been improving the chequing account.

On past teams I’ve had the opportunity to create a vision for Business Banking, simplify the money movement flows, and take options trading from 0 → 1.

At FreshBooks, I helped small business owners and their teams track time, manage projects, and report on profitability.

The main philosophies I bring into my work are curiosity, a beginner’s mindset, empathy, and a focus on simplicity.

I take a very collaborative approach to projects, and love to workshop a problem together.

I love to try new things and craft. I often host friends for evening craft clubs.

I have also kept a bullet journal for many years, and love crafting, photography, making paper zines, and anything paper craft.

I also like to run, and am attempting my third half-marathon this year.
